Clearview Software has developed a dynamic and secure Application
Driver™ Platform for enabling and accessing fully functional,
mission critical applications across the network and through the
Internet. The platform’s architecture provides users with a
standard, Windows-based interface designed to be implemented as
a natural extension of a firm’s critical application infrastructure.
To serve the enterprise, the Clearview Platform allows the development
of only a single secure, extensible real-time application for deployment
to desktops or through browsers.
At the heart of the Clearview Application Driver™ Platform
are presentation layer interfaces that eliminate the need to modify
application source code and application logic. Standard Windows
development tools such as Visual Basic, enable a developer to establish
very quickly a standard GUI for any legacy application. Unlike the
capability of a narrowly defined “terminal emulator”,
the Clearview Platform interfaces empower developers to take a highly
flexible and extensible approach to Windows or web enabling their
most critical applications. By exploiting the Clearview Application
Driver™ Platform’s powerful and dynamic interfaces
and associated web-based components a developer can, with minimal
effort, rejuvenate entire applications, or select portions of an
application, for seamless delivery in a thin client, browser based
or secure-telnet mode.
The power of the RSA Encryption that is embedded into the Clearview
Platform ensures application security. For compatibility with enterprise
level security, Clearview provides integrated support for the complementary
suite of RSA Products . Clearview-enabled applications can be accessed
natively in Citrix and Windows Terminal Server desktops. Adopting
Clearview’s scalable, “best of breed” approach enables
enterprise technology managers to control access to mission critical
applications through a fully functional GUI client server presentation
layer, whether deploying them through a web browser or a desktop.
